| The Volunteer Services department provides four exclusive programs: |
Career Exposure Program |
 |
Individuals pursuing medical/healthcare careers may gain work experience by shadowing a medical/healthcare professional. |

Patient and guest Ambassador Program |
|
Volunteers greet and facilitate assistance for any questions or needs. |
|
Student Program |
|
This program is available to any student who needs to complete community service or internship/externship hours. |

Board of Director |
|
The majority of the work of the Board of Directors takes place at the committee level. A description of each committee follows below: |
|
Board Development Committee: This Committee recruits members and prepare the slate of nominees for filing positions as vacancies occur. The Committee performs the annual evaluation of the Directors to ensure that the board is working effectively. The Committee is responsible for member Board of Directors orientation and in planning on-going training for the Board. |

Resource Development Committee: This Committee works with the Executive Director to design Fundraising efforts, help form strategies to increase and assists in the implementation of strategies. This committee makes recommendations to the fundraising strategies. This committee plans and organizes special event fundraising activities. |
